“The smallest one was Madeline…”

The name could NOT be more fitting for this precious little one.  She’s the youngest in a family of red heads and while she’s not at a boarding school in France, this Madeline had me just as smitten as the character in the books!

Last fall at her sister-in-law’s wedding, Jennifer casually came up to me and asked what I was doing in April.  I had an inkling of what she was about to ask, but it’s always safer to let others share their own news!  But I was right!  She was expecting their second baby and was hoping I’d be able to photograph newborn photos.

Between Jennifer and James’s wedding in 2017, his cousin’s wedding in 2019, their first baby later that year and then his sister’s wedding in 2021, I’ve seen a lot of this wonderful family!  So the only answer was YES to newborn photos!

Madeline was so sleepy during her session that I only saw her beautiful blue eyes for a brief moment.  Arriving 3 weeks before your due date will do that to you (my youngest was the same way!).

Their sweet dog has been around since Jennifer and James were dating so she needed to be in these photos!

 

I’m only slightly obsessed with the rug they chose for the nursery… as well as the red hair and blue eyes of their oldest!
